Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner operates a paperless office and as such any documentation which you provide us with will be scanned and uploaded to our systems and the document securely destroyed. This enables us to hold accurate and secure information, but also retrieve it as and when necessary. Submitting ‘original’ personal documents should be avoided where at all possible , however if you do so these will not be destroyed/shredded without your written permission, you should make this expressly clear in your correspondence with us in order to ensure we are aware of your wish for a document to be returned. Please note that we will NOT routinely return any documents unless specifically requested to do so and then only if it is an ‘original’ which cannot be replaced.
